Galvatek’s Galcont™ process automation system has been constantly developed and improved for already four decades to meet ever-increasing demands in surface treatment plant control.  The system has the following key features:

• Freely programmable treatment programs
• Different treatment programs can run in the line at the same time, while each bar follows its own program
• Automatic process control and optimization
  • Operator’s main task is to handle the loading and unloading
  • Loaded bars are sent automatically to process
  • Optimization ”sees the future” and takes into account:
    • Treatment program of the loaded bar
    • Bars already in the line, their treatment programs and their progress
    • Time needed for transporter moves
    • Capacity of parallel stations
