In a constantly evolving world, it is essential to adapt to market changes and implement effective strategies to improve performance. To increase our competitiveness in the international surface treatment markets, Christophe HERMAN takes over the position as Company Manager of Galvatek from his predecessor Jarno VIRTANEN, who has been appointed Head of international Sales & KAM (Key Account Management) of John Cockerill Industry’s Surface Treatment Business Line (BL) with immediate effect.
Jarno’s solid experience and in-depth knowledge of the aeronautics industry will be significant assets in this new role.
For the “Sales” part of his function, his main responsibility will be to coordinate and boost international sales.
As such, Jarno will be in charge of the sales activities related to all international projects (outside Europe) of our sector of activity. In this new role, he will be the client’s preferred contact. He will define the industrial scheme and depending on the project, he will coordinate and work directly with the Business Line’s concerned entities, all while ensuring that the projects are fully in line with the currently deployed “Lead to Order” process. He will also be responsible for the BL’s agency and reseller network, as well as all matters related to the associated compliance.
To replace him in his previous role, Christophe HERMAN was appointed Company Manager of John Cockerill Galvatek.
With his in-depth knowledge of the Group and his solid experience in business development and project implementation, Christophe will be able to help Galvatek to efficiently face the challenges of the many projects currently being executed and to come, to grow Galvatek’s talent base, as well as foster the integration of the entity in the governance and principles of the Business Line, the Sector and the Group with the set goal to increase Galvatek’s overall efficiency and profitability.
Galvatek Polska remains under the responsibility of Sébastian KOBUS, who will report to Christophe in his role as Galvatek’s new Company Manager. In the short term, Christophe will help Sébastien to improve the use of the entity’s Polish team by the other entities of the Surface Treatment Business Line.
