John Cockerill Surface Treatment enters 2026 with strong momentum. In December 2025 alone, the company secured contracts worth approximately €25 million. The projects will take place in Asia and Europe in 2026 and 2027. The entire John Cockerill Surface Treatment division will contribute to their execution.
According to CEO Sebastian Storbacka, most of the new agreements were signed with companies in the aviation industry. John Cockerill Surface Treatment is the leading supplier of chemical cleaning lines for aviation, with decades of experience working with major OEMs.
“These deals further strengthen our position as a trusted equipment supplier in the aviation industry. Our goal is to be the number one globally, and this confirms that we are on the right track,” says Storbacka.
“The contracts also include line modernization projects, which we are especially pleased about as they support our strategic goals,” states John Cockerill’s Key Account Manager of Aviation, Jarno Virtanen.
John Cockerill Surface Treatment division and its turnover alike have grown steadily in recent years. Currently, the divisions order book has reached an all-time high. The growth trend is expected to continue this year.
