New HAESL Component repair Centre operates with Galvatek Technology

Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited, HAESL, celebrated recently the official opening of its new Component Repair Centre of Excellence with state-of-the-art Galvatek technology at its heart.

 

This 13 500 m2 expansion to its existing engine repair and overhaul facility offers now more efficient and higher quality MRO services. The new facility not only expands HAESL’s capacity but also enhances its service to customers in terms of productivity and turnaround time in an industry rapidly growing in Asia.

The fully automated chemical cleaning line and advanced waste water treatment plant by Galvatek were designed and fitted to HAESL’s specific requirements. Our experts were closely involved with the project all the way through from initial planning stages right away through to the construction of the service building and the design and fitting of the equipment. As a result, HAESL offers now a up-to-date repair and maintenance services for the aviation industry, rivaled by none in the region.

Attending celebrations along with the guests including the guest of honor, Mr Christopher Pratt, the Chairman of the Swire Pacific Limited and Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (HAECO), were also Managing Director Ulf Pråhl, Procect Manager Jarno Virtanen and Creative Manager Jani Välkky from Galvatek.

 

Galvatek Design and Technology raises HAESL’s MRO Service Center to a New Level of Excellence

 

June marked a significant milestone for the Asian aviation MRO industry as the Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited, HAESL, celebrated the official opening of its Component Repair Centre of Excellence. This 13 500 m2 expansion to its existing engine repair and overhaul facility is a welcomed addition to the growing demand for high quality and efficient MRO services.
The new MRO service center is fitted with state-of-the-art technology by Galvatek including fully automated chemical cleaning line and waste water treatment plant using advanced Galcont control system, especially designed for surface treatment facilities.

The advanced Galvatek technology helps HAESL to set new standards in the Asian aviation MRO. The automated cleaning line features innovative XYZ transporter enabling an effective plant layout, as the transporter can move in any direction. An integrated walk-in-spray-booth for random manual cleaning of engine parts adds flexibility to otherwise fully automatic system. Traceable reporting system leaves no room for human error and provides useful information for further development of services provided.
