Supply of a surface treatment plant for the US aviation industry

The recently supplied highly automated surface treatment plant opened an important gateway into the US market for John Cockerill Industry’s Surface Treatment business and its MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) specialist, Galvatek.

Both, the fully automated Chemical Cleaning Line & the Stripping Line have been delivered to the US aviation industry, while the COVID-19 pandemic caused twists and turns all along the way. But thanks to their dedication, John Cockerill’s Finnish entity’s team cleared all obstacles, and their agility even allowed the American client to start up their new facilities three months ahead of schedule. 

The client who selected Galvatek as one of the worldwide leading suppliers of this type of equipment, was impressed by John Cockerill’s commitment and ability to keep the initial schedule regardless of the pandemic.
